Our Company History

Floyd was the son of cofounder Jeff Goodson. He worked with Goodson Brothers at various times and in various capacities throughout its history. He and his wife, Tracy, returned to Knoxville in 2023 so he could lead the company in new directions including a focus on Goodson Brothers’ direct to consumer business. Floyd was President at the time of his passing on January 1, 2026.

Tracy joined Goodson Brothers after a successful thirty year career in commercial real estate managing portfolios, acquisitions, dispositions and new development. Tracy guides daily operations and oversees corporate administrative functions. She and Floyd were married for fifteen years.

Jordan joined Goodson Brothers in 2007, and has held several positions, giving her a comprehensive understanding of our operations. In 2022, Jordan was promoted to the role of HR Director.

Johanna holds a bachelor’s degree in food technology and an MBA. She joined Goodson Brothers in 2024, bringing extensive experience in quality management and ESL skills, and quickly became an integral part of the quality assurance team.

I’ve been roasting coffee for 20 years, long enough to know that mastery comes from repetition, restraint, and obsession with detail. I’m a roast master by trade and a leader by necessity, trusted to guide teams and protect quality at scale. I care deeply about producing coffee that’s honest, drinkable, and intentional—not flashy for the sake of attention. Coffee is my life’s work, and I take it seriously without taking myself too seriously.
